Hi Campers,
It is good for us to extend our appreciation to the organising committee. Being a previous committee member in family camps, I urge you to be patient and understanding with camp committees. It is not an easy task and requires a lot of planning and man hours. You know what, they are doing all these for FREE so that we can have a swelling spiritual time. Things may not go or come the way you want it. People say, “give and take lah”. Better still, bible says “it is better to give than to receive (take)”. Ask, query and seek clarification if you need to but in everything let us do it in brotherly love as the scripture teaches.
Thank you committee.

Thank you for word of affirmation, Philip!
In my own personal opinion, I think we sometimes wrongly perceive the (any) planning committee for camp or retreat as “tour operators” and we expect them to cater to our needs. Nevertheless, we will do their utmost to organise a good camp and we pray that campers will partner with us by extending their kind co-operation, understanding and patience.
We consider organising this church camp an honour and a privilege to serve God who is worthy to be praised. We’re prepared for the hard work and sacrifice of time involved in organising the camp till the very last day. As the song goes, “It’s all about JESUS…”.
We would like to take this opportunity to ask every church member/camper to pray for the following items:
* committee – God’s anointing & wisdom, foresight, strength & good health.
* camp speaker – life-transforming & anointed messages & good health
* smooth planning of this camp
* good response from church members
* and more importantly, for God’s agenda for the camp to materialise
Thank you!
