  1. There seems to be a gap in your rates for children in the age category of 3 and 4 years old. Do they fall under Child 4 years and above?

    Our apologies for the error in the children’s rates. It’s supposed to be below 4 years old for the CM2 & NCM2. We have amended it accordingly.

  3. Hello Committee,

    Wow! How exciting! It seems everything is well done. Could I check with you the price for the Non-members. It is very expensive. My husband is a member of GTPJ and I don’t understand why the spouse who is not a member of GTPJ charge as non-members rate? Isn’t that unfair to apply the other member who is a spouse a non-member and a member? Anyway, this is an advice.

    Thanks for your message. :-)

    First of all, the actual camp cost is really RM475 as quoted to us. We are actually getting a fairly good deal considering the fact that this hotel is rated 4-star and has pretty good facilities.

    If you were to book directly from the hotel, this is how the rates would look like:

    1 twin-sharing room (internet rate) @ RM210 x 3 nights

    Breakfast = RM34.50nett x 3 meals x 2 persons

    Buffet Lunch = RM45.00++ (RM51.75nett) x 2 meals x 2 persons (last day no lunch as per camp)

    Buffet Dinner = RM55.00 ++ (RM63.25nett) x 3 meals x 2 persons

    Total amount is RM1473.50 for two persons i.e. RM711.75 per person.

    Compared to the church camp’s rates of RM475.00, that’s a huge saving of RM236.75 per person or RM473.50 for a couple.

    Secondly, subsidies are provided to members who have taken up church membership with GTPJ. This has always been a long practice in GT. If your husband has not taken up membership, we strongly encourage him to do so and when the next camp comes in 2010, he will be able to enjoy the camp subsidy too.

    With such big savings, we hope you and your husband will consider signing up for the church camp. :-)
